Number Puzzles and Multiple Towers

We have begun AMSTI math! The children are learning to become problem-solvers and thinkers. I am posting several pictures from Tuesday's math lesson. I will also be posting a few videos! I hope you enjoy watching your children as they begin to explore and fall in love with math!

Day One

We had a wonderful day today! Our class is full of interesting personalities! I learned a few things about my students today. Ryan S. loves history, so I am going to do my best to load him up with as much of it as possible. I have quite a few little chatter boxes, but they were so excited to be in class today! Anglia loves to draw, and I could tell her dad is involved in fire and rescue because she drew the LifeSaver helicopter. We started the year off with a bang! We have so much ahead of us! We will begin AMSTI math tomorrow. I can't wait to see the results! I also can't wait to see how much our little family is going to grow this year.

SCHOOL STARTS TOMORROW!!!!!!

I am so excited!!!! Tomorrow begins a new exciting school year! A fresh batch of eager learners will walk through my classroom door in the morning!!! I can't wait!!!

Back to Work

I went to the school today and did a few things to get ready for my new students! Tomorrow is my official back to work day. I am sooooo excited to get another exciting year started. I got a lot done today, so tomorrow, I will get names on folders, notebooks, and other things. I can't wait until next week. I'm so excited that I can't sleep. I always do this on the night before I go back to work. I have so much going through my mind! Six more days to go! Enjoy what's left of your summer.

It's about that time!

The countdown has begun to another great school year! I am looking forward to welcoming a new group of smiling faces into my class. I have so many exciting things planned for this year. I'm will be at the school everyday next week getting my classroom ready. I don't have much to do, but there are things that need to be done! The summer was short, but it is time to get back to work!!
